Position: Closing Coordinator

Reliance First Capital was founded with the purpose of helping both existing and prospective homeowners receive the right mortgage. In an effort to support our rapid growth, we are looking for a Mortgage Closing Coordinator for our Corporate Headquarters in Melville, NY.  

 

The Closing Coordinator will primarily be responsible for completion of Loan Estimates in conjunction with program and state specific disclosure requirements, Closing Disclosures and Closing Documents

 

Essential Job Functions:

​

• Complete Federal and State specific disclosures in tandem with loan specific program requirements

• Verify data integrity in the loan file

• Communicate with sales staff as necessary

• Prepare loan estimates and Closing Disclosures in accordance with TRID requirements

• Prepare Closing Documents in accordance with Federal, State and Loan Specific requirements

• Communicate with Settlement Agents as necessary

Requirements:

​

• Familiar with regulatory compliance including TRID, RESPA and TILA

• Familiar with multistate disclosures and closings

• Basic knowledge of Conventional and Government loan products and requirements

• Strong knowledge of closing document preparation

• Detail oriented

• Analytical skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Basic computer knowledge
