Summary:

 

Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch office to which the Branch Manager is assigned.

 

​Responsibilities:

​

• Financial Services: Develop and increase the volume of Mortgage Loan Originators by Mortgage Analysts and Origination Managers. Comply with, and ensure that Mortgage Analysts, Origination Managers and staff comply with all of Reliance's policies, guidelines and procedures. Originate mortgage loans.
   

• Talent Acquisition: Recruit and hire Mortgage Analysts, Origination Managers and sales staff to originate residential mortgage loans in accordance with Reliance's policies, procedures and guidelines. Recruit and hire support staff.
   

• Management: Supervise and manage Mortgage Analysts, Origination Managers and support staff. Manage employee relations and evaluations. Participate in meetings and conference calls with Management.
   

• Support: Assist in the implementation of Reliance's training programs for Mortgage Analysts, Origination Managers and staff directly and indirectly reporting to Branch Manager. Support the company's strong relationship culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service, and superior product knowledge.
   

• Training: Provide ongoing training, support and direction to Mortgage Analysts, Origination Managers and support staff.
   

• Human Resources: Work closely with corporate HR department to address all employee relations.
   

Requirements:

• Knowledge of conventional and/or government guidelines. Strong knowledge of FHA and HUD guidelines. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
   

• Ability to maintain strong knowledge of the ever-changing guidelines of the mortgage industry through continuing education and licensing requirements.
   

• Strong leadership and motivational abilities. Excellent oral communication skills.
   

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) Finance, Business, or Economics or two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
   

• Analytical and mathematical skills.
